Process 01

The Art of Tanning

Our leather begins its journey in the heart of Tuscany, where our signature vegetable-tanning process uses natural extracts from chestnut and mimosa bark. This slow, artisanal method—taking up to 40 days—preserves the organic integrity of the hide, ensuring a material that doesn't just age, but matures beautifully.

Hand-Stitching Techniques

The Saddle Stitch

Utilizing two needles and a single waxed thread, the saddle stitch is functionally superior to any machine stitch, ensuring a lifetime of durability.

Burnished Edges

Every edge is painstakingly smoothed with natural beeswax and friction, creating a glass-like finish that seals the leather permanently.

Precision Skiving

Hand-skiving reduces leather thickness at seams and folds, maintaining a slim profile without compromising the structural strength of the piece.
